Mealtimes don’t get more quintessentially British than afternoon tea. Everyone loves it: from Grannies to our fellas (don’t lie boys) but its an event I fear we aren’t making the most of.
Yes we have busier lives than those chilled out aristocratic Georgians, so stopping every day, mid-afternoon for a spot of tea and French Fancies is sadly no longer an option. However, we can bring this fabulous mealtime back into our lives in other ways: whether its Mother’s Day, Easter Lunch, a pre-wedding soiree with your bridesmaids, there’s an afternoon tea event out there for you all.
